Beats debuts two new colors for its best-selling Beats Pill speaker

Apple’s Beats brand brought the iconic Beats Pill back from the dead last summer. Now, the company is refreshing the lineup with two new colors for Beats Pill shoppers: Navy Blue and Blush Pink.

Another interesting tidbit from today’s announcement from Beats is that the new Beats Pill is its best-selling speaker. The company says that Beats sold more Beats Pill (2024) units in the first nine months since launch compared to all past Beats Pill launches.

Here are the details on those two new colors:

Just in time for Summer, Beats today announces its best-selling speaker, the Beats Pill, is debuting in two fresh new colors—Navy Blue and Blush Pink. Both colors are available starting today at exclusive retailers — the Beats Pill in Navy Blue will be sold exclusively at Walmart and the Beats Pill in Blush Pink will be sold exclusively at Target.

To correspond with today’s announcement, Beats is also launching a new star-studded Pill People campaign for the Beats Pill:

To accompany the launch, these must-have summer speakers are getting the star treatment with fun, new “Pill People” shorts featuring WNBA-star Angel Reese and former F1 driver Daniel Ricciardo. In both shorts, the athletes’ personalities and likenesses are brought to life through their animated Pill People personas. Angel’s pink Pill Person features her iconic long lashes and competitive spirit, while Daniel brings his trademark charisma to his blue Pill Person, even performing his signature ‘shoey’ (drinking champagne from a shoe).

Here’s what I had to say about the new Beats Pill in my full review last summer:

The Beats Pill gets almost everything right for a revival of an abandoned, fan-favorite product. It stays true to its iconic roots while also making several notable improvements. That includes better sound quality, improved battery life, improved connectivity, and USB-C.

And what makes those improvements all the more notable is the pricing. The Beats Pill costs $149.99, which is $80 cheaper than the launch price of the Beats Pill+ in 2015. That’s a pretty significant price drop, especially for a product that first launched nine years ago.

If you’re in the market for a Bluetooth speaker, the Beats Pill is one to check out. The value of one-touch connectivity and pairing for Apple devices alone gives it a huge leg-up on the competition.

The Beats Pill in Navy Blue is available exclusively at Walmart for $149.99. You can grab the Blush Pink color exclusively at Target for the same price. Beats Pill in Blush Pink will be coming to Canada and the UK this Summer, exclusively at John Lewis (UK) and Walmart (Canada).

If you don’t care about having the latest and greatest colors, you can snag the Beats Pill in its three original colors at a discount on Amazon:
